Fucking awesome. I love your DJ Screw posts. Incredible talent.
Just helped me add the final touches to my play list for my trip to Lebanon.
Much props to this blog. Cheers.

I'm a long time Screwhead. Benn a music fan and a dj for over 20 years.
IMHO - I'd say that getting into Screw is usually an instant reaction. You're either drawn to it or not. I understand people who appreciate it, but don't particularly like it. Those that get it, though, tend to fiend for it. The mellow pitch - suspended hi hats and hidden psychedelia in even the most inane tunes is simply amazing.
I slow up all sorts of things on my blog... which consists of mixes of music I like. Not all slowed- but plenty.
Here's a link to my Slowed version of "Pet Sounds"

Those who really want to hear Screw at his best - download "Hellraiser," "2 Liters" or "Southside Still Holding" - those long ass freestyles are the best.

am i the only one who has nothing but trouble with "megaupload"?
This is probably the third time I've DL'd some DJ Screw. I tend to listen to it a couple times, get over it and delete it. I don't know why I just don't keep it tucked away. It's something I like only a few times a year.
